Alisma plantago-aquatica (Water Plantain)When mature this plant sends up many flower stems with multiple delicate white flowers and broad, lanceolate leaves. It is also said to be a cure for rabies hence it is sometimes called Mad Dog weed. Likes to be kept constantly moist. Remove flower heads soon after flowering to encourage new flowers and prevent self seeding. Trim old foliage after dying back in Autumn Plant in full sun to partial shade between 0cm and 15cm deep. I really love rainbows and I wanted to share that love with my children. This book is a great way to do that! It has solid construction with clean soft cuts on the pages, which are thinner but just as sturdy as most board books. Not too short, and well illustrated, and a good introduction to the colors, it is well worth the price.
