The Ladder mounts to the lower tailgate, allowing you to still open the upper tailgate (glass section) independently, with no interference from the Ladder. Please note: not compatible with early 2010 2013 models. Only compatible with mid term and late term facelift

Nice mount, but you can’t have a remote cover
I do like this mount, and it’s super easy to put on. Unfortunately this mount tries to be snug enough so that you cannot use if there is a cover on the remote.
